The Elements
Jupiter is expansive and tolerant. Combined with the element of Water it manifests as plenty and good fortune. It is spirituality expressed within the structure of formal religious ritual. As a result, it is the union of knowledge and wisdom.
The Number 9
The Nines of the Minor Arcana bring things to a conclusion. They represent integration, fulfillment and attainment. With Cups and the energy of Water, we enjoy romantic, social and sensual pleasures. Satisfaction and contentment reign.

On the Tree of Life, the Nine of Cups card represents the formula 9. Sephiroth or sphere 9, Yesod (Foundation). The sphere of the Moon where energy crystallizes in the suit of Cups – Briah, the Creative world. Combined with the element of Water (our heart and emotions). Plus, Jupiter in Pisces, equaling Happiness.

The Nine of Cups represents Jupiter in Pisces. It rules from 10 to 20 degrees Pisces, or March 1st through March 10th. So, if your birthday falls on or between those dates, you’ll be feeling this week’s energy even more than the rest of us. Jupiter’s energy is “bigger, better, more.” The gift of the good life is right at home in the mutable water sign of the Fish, where things are comfortable and cozy.
In real-time astrology, the Sun continues its transit of Water-sign Pisces. Jupiter is also transiting Pisces through May 10. Jupiter is the planet of luck. Power colors: sea-green, blue, purple, violet and white.
Power stones: amethyst, aquamarine, sapphire, emerald or topaz. Wear as jewelry or carry as power stones to manifest what makes you happy and serves your highest good.
Power metal: tin. Not great for wearing – but a strong alloy (and ally) for strength and flexibility.
Power fragrances: musk, lavender, jasmine, heliotrope, carnation, poppy, cedar, honeysuckle and hyssop. These will inspire love, happiness and optimism. They awaken Pisces gentle, loving nature and radiate Jupiter’s noble power.
